Gradle C++ support

Russel Winder-3
It seems from the documentation that cpp-lib builds shared objects (aka
dynamic link libraries). Does this have full soname support? Is there a
way of creating static libraries?

Not yet. At the moment you have to deal with this yourself with the appropriate linker args. Dependency management isn't aware of soname either.

Not yet.

The C++ plugins are pretty basic prototypes at the moment. There's lots of stuff I'd love to do to improve them, but it's a matter of finding the time to do so.
