Tooling API in color

Lóránt Pintér-2
Hi,

Is it possible to run a build via the Tooling API and get some color in the output?

Thanks.

Hi,

at the moment it is not possible. You'd have to do it on client side.

Which side is the client here, and how can I do it there? On the caller side I don’t have the output. On the called side, Gradle has already decided to switch off color, so the ANSI codes are not added. I only want the same colors (actually the same ANSI codes) to appear in the output as it does when running from the command line.
